A Computer was a person who did mathematical calculations for a living. They "computed" answers.
The entire class will create a slideshow giving an overview of the history of computers.
The slideshow will be in your MTH-ICS3U Google Drive folder.
You may work solo or with a partner.
You will be given a historical figure / group to research.
Create rough-notes & organize your thoughts. Create a plan for your slide(s).
Begin generating a rough-draft of your slide, ensuring you keep slides brief.
Your slide(s) must include the following (you may include more - more is almost never bad):
Significance of this historical figure in terms of Computer Science
Photo(s) of them / their invention / the item (with credit or source)
Any great fact(s) or interesting information, side story, personal information...
Presentations will be given every Monday (@Mention Mondays) in the order of the slideshow

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz
Augusta Ada Byron, Countess of Lovelace (Ada Lovelace)
John Atanasoff & Clifford Berry
ENIAC, EDVAC, UNIVAC
